Job Summary

Milestone Health Partners in Williston, North Dakota is growing and seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our multidisciplinary team.

This position is ideal for a therapist who enjoys working with the pediatric population , including children with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, learning disabilities, and other developmental disabilities. Treatment approaches may include sensory integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, functional and purposeful play, and other evidence-based interventions.

This position also offers opportunities to work with the adult population , including individuals with upper-extremity orthopedic impairments and deficits related to activities of daily living. Team members at Milestone have the opportunity to develop a caseload that aligns with their interests and strengths while collaborating closely with PTs, SLPs, behavioral health providers, ABA professionals, and other members of the care team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary based on whether the candidate is an OT or COTA and will be performed within the individual's scope of practice.

• Provide individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services
• Assess patients and develop plans of care and treatment recommendations, as appropriate to licensure and scope of practice
• Implement and modify therapeutic activities based on patient needs, goals, and progress
• Collaborate with OTs/COTAs and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient care
• Complete documentation and progress reporting in a timely manner
• Participate in treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Assist with student education and training as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with PT, ST, behavioral health, ABA, and other disciplines
• Provide patient, caregiver, and community education related to occupational therapy
• Contribute to the continued development and growth of occupational therapy services at Milestone

Compensation and Benefits

Milestone Health Partners values work-life balance and offers flexible scheduling to support both career and family responsibilities. Clinic hours are Monday–Thursday from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and Fridays from 7:00 AM–12:00 PM , allowing for extended weekends and greater scheduling flexibility.

Compensation is dependent upon position, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current or eligible for licensure through the North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
• Pediatric and/or adult experience preferred, but not required

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current or eligible for North Dakota licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Pediatric and/or adult experience preferred, but not required
