A healthcare facility in Coal Grove, OH is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support their pharmacy operations on a per diem basis. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver exceptional medication management and customer service while contributing to patient care in both retail and long-term care settings.
Responsibilities include accurately distributing prescribed medications according to physician orders, providing clear and informative counseling to customers about medication usage, and ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times. The Pharmacist will play a critical role in promoting safe and effective medication use, while addressing questions and concerns from patients and healthcare providers.
Ideal candidates will possess a current Ohio Pharmacist license and have experience working in retail pharmacy or long-term care environments. Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care are essential for success in this role.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Ohio Pharmacist License
Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care preferred
Knowledge of medication dispensing and counseling best practices
