Responsibilities Ensure smooth kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized. Manage tasks efficiently to maintain kitchen workflow. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Restock kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift. Perform routine cleaning of the kitchen and assist with general cleaning tasks as needed. Have a clear understanding of dish machine operations, including its chemical components, and follow proper procedures for changing water and chemicals as needed. Keep floors clean and dry. Ensure plates and smallwares are properly washed, sanitized, and stored. Maintain and inspect food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are always adhered to. Correct unsafe practices or conditions and notify management. Commit to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards. Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Requirements 1+ year BOH experience in a full‑service restaurant preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs. Can work in hot and cold environments. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping. Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems. Ability to move quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting. Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
