Job Summary:
Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures. This includes assisting physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, acting as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions, and operating imaging equipment. The role also involves patient care under the supervision of an RN, educating patients and families about procedures, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the unit. Additional responsibilities include documenting procedures, participating in quality and safety initiatives, and promoting the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV-specific certification or RCIS or RCES
• BLS - American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
• Fluoroscopy Certification
• Radiation badges supplied by the vendor

Preferred Qualifications:
• Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab
• Associate’s degree
