Health Unit Coordinator at Providence St. Lukes Rehabilitation Inst, Spokane WA

Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the Health Unit Coordinator functions to manage the open record electronic medical record. Provides a mechanism for efficient and smooth flow of patient care, departmental and interdepartmental communication through the functions of scheduling, relating messaging, and communicating with staff, patients and providers.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of a community college unit secretary curriculum or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years general office and/or Unit Secretary, Health Unit Coordinator, or Receptionist experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
