Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. The role involves floating to step-down units as needed, ensuring comprehensive clinical support across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Float to step-down units when necessary to support patient care needs.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and document clinical observations accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond to call requirements and assist with patient needs during off-hours.
• Maintain valid ACLS and BLS certifications throughout the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Willing to float to step-down units and perform patient assessments.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with call responsibilities.
• Comply with travel distance restrictions, residing more than 100 miles from the facility.
