$23.00/Hour | Armed School Security Officer | Monday–Friday Daylight Schedule
KRE Security, LLC is seeking reliable, consistent, and highly qualified Armed School Security Officers for a school district in Duncannon, PA. This position provides coverage across three separate school buildings and offers a stable weekday schedule, long-term placement, and year-round earning opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced armed security professionals, veterans, retired law enforcement officers, or individuals seeking a professional school security environment with steady hours and no overnight shifts.

Position Details

• Starting pay: $23.00 per hour 
• Monday–Friday schedule 
• 8.5-hour daylight shifts 
• No overnight shifts 
• Position begins in September 
• Coverage across three school buildings 
• Overtime opportunities available for sports, extracurricular activities, and school events 
• Full-time, school-year placement with additional summer and per diem opportunities available when school is not in session 

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure school environment 
• Conduct patrols of school property and surrounding grounds 
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents 
• Monitor entrances, visitors, and access control 
• Build positive working relationships with school staff and administrators 
• Complete all reports and required documentation professionally and accurately 
• Coordinate with school officials and emergency responders when necessary

Qualifications and Clearance Requirements

• Act 235 certification preferred or the ability to obtain it 
• Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security experience preferred 
• Veterans and former law enforcement officers are strongly encouraged to apply 
• Clean criminal history and ability to pass all required screenings 
• Candidates are responsible for obtaining and providing their own required school clearances, including: 
  • FBI fingerprint-based background check 
  • Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check 
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
