We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in Allentown. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of land development and public improvement projects, including site design, subdivisions, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and municipal submissions.

Position Details

• Full-time position based out of our Allentown office
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Flexibility in work schedules, with limited remote work opportunities based on position, project and team needs

What You Will Do

As a Civil Engineer on our team, you will help develop practical, accurate designs while supporting the quality and responsiveness our clients expect.

• Collaborate with project teams to design land development, subdivision, and public improvement plans.
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and related construction documents.
• Develop stormwater management reports, calculations, and models.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control plans and supporting documentation.
• Assist with construction cost estimates, technical reports, and project specifications.
• Prepare and coordinate municipal, county, and agency submissions and permit applications.
• Review zoning, subdivision, and land development requirements for project compliance.
• Attend client, municipal, and agency meetings with project managers and senior engineers.
• Coordinate with surveyors, landscape architects, inspectors, and other members of the project team.
• Support projects through review, approval, bidding, and construction as assigned.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who combines solid land development experience with attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Five or more years of relevant civil engineering or site design experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
• Familiarity with stormwater modeling software such as HydroCAD or SWMM.
• Working knowledge of Pennsylvania land development regulations and permitting requirements preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

This position is based out of our Allentown, PA office. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office or be willing to relocate prior to their start date.
