Accounting Operations Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manages contracting needs for various shared service departments in the organization. Serves as the primary point of contact for a diverse set of contracts. Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Finance and Legal, to facilitate contract approvals and signatures. Briefs management on budgetary matters. Leads daily and monthly administrative tasks such as Purchase Order (PO) and vendor invoice management. Calculates month‑end accruals and prepares journal entries. Assists in analysis of month‑end performance versus budget. Provides data management and analytical support between Shared Service and Finance departments. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Three (3) years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in project/program management, quantitative analysis and/or financial analysis. CPA preferred. OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience; namely NetSuite. Ability to manage confidential information with a high level of integrity and discretion. Inquisitive, analytical and detail‑oriented. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Strong communication skills. Ability to clear the required background check. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required. WORK ENVIRONMENT The position is virtual and open to residents of the 50 states and D.C. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salaries will differ based on factors including geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Salary range: $51,044 - $70,000.
