Defense Litigation Paralegal ($90,000 - $105,000 salary range)

We are partnered with a premier defense litigation firm who is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Defense Litigation Paralegal to join the Columbia team. In this role, you will protect household-name manufacturers facing high-stakes, technically complex lawsuits.

What You’ll Do:

• Draft, edit, and proofread pleadings, agreements, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Partner with attorneys to drive cases forward and manage complex discovery phases.
• Coordinate depositions, issue subpoenas, and manage document reviews.
• Assemble trial materials, manage exhibits, coordinate witnesses, and attend trials nationwide.
• Maintain and organize electronic files utilizing document management software.
• Exceptional writing and proofreading skills with the ability to manage multiple strict deadlines.

What You Bring:

• Four years of dedicated defense litigation experience as a paralegal
• Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Familiarity with case management software (such as Clio or iManage) is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with client billing guidelines and precise daily time entry.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for trial support.
• Strong ability to anticipate case challenges and exercise sound independent judgment.
