Overview We are seeking an accomplished Senior Technical Program Manager with deep experience in complex environments within the cable, broadband, or telecommunications industry. This long‑term hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can quickly understand intricate system architectures, lead cross‑functional initiatives, and deliver results in high‑impact transformation programs. Ideal candidates have proven expertise navigating technical complexity from legacy systems to modern platforms while maintaining clear communication and alignment among business, architecture, and vendor teams. Candidates located in the Denver, CO or Philadelphia areas are strongly preferred. All qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. We do not work C2C. Responsibilities Program Leadership: Drive end‑to‑end program delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality targets are met. Project Management: Facilitate cross‑functional meetings, document solutions and critical decisions, create action plans and project plans that are driven to completion. Develop best practice project artifacts for highest level of organization and accountability. Roadmap Development: Develop strategic iterative roadmaps that outline critical upcoming activities and sequencing at the executive level. Systems Expertise: Quickly assess and understand complex ecosystems, including data flows, integrations, and dependencies. Data Migration Management: Lead planning and execution of data migration activities from legacy systems to new platforms; apply best practices to ensure accuracy, integrity, and minimal disruption. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with system architects, 3rd‑party vendors, and business operations teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and ensure seamless execution. Strategic Communication: Synthesize complex technical information into clear, actionable plans and updates for executive and operational audiences. Governance & Reporting: Establish program governance, risk management frameworks, and executive reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and control. Requirements Minimum 7 years of progressive program or project management experience, including large‑scale system implementations and data migrations. Experience in the telecom, cable, or broadband enterprise industry. Proven success managing data migration efforts from legacy to modern platforms. Ability to translate technical complexity into actionable strategy for diverse audiences. Highly analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it concisely for decision‑making. Resourceful with a strong desire to continuously learn, explore, and dig deeper into challenges and solutions. Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills across technical and business domains. High emotional intelligence and executive presence, able to influence outcomes and deliver clear executive‑ready status updates (including RAG health indicators and visual dashboards). Strong leadership and ownership mindset with a proven track record of driving accountability, alignment, and delivery across diverse teams. Expertise in developing executive presentations and stakeholder materials, delivering concise, meaningful insights and program updates. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet. Education/Certifications PMP or similar certification preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred. Compensation For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, this is a long‑term consulting engagement with a salary range of $120k‑135k. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications and potential certifications may influence the final compensation.
