Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2090 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
- Phlebotomy required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- CAPD experience preferred.

Required Credentials:
- Must pass EKG exam at orientation.

Preferred Credentials:
- Critical Care Course preferred.

Special Requests:
- Assignment length may vary: 16 - 18 weeks.

Unit Details:
- Mixed Med Surg/Telemetry unit caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including pre-/post-hemodialysis and CAPD patients.
- Uses Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, and Kangaroo pumps; cares for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, and tube feeds.
- Support staff includes 1-2 CNAs per shift; sitter support available.

Shift & Scheduling:
- 12-hour nights, every other weekend and major holiday required.

Floating Requirements:
- May float to other MS/Tele units as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required for submission
