What You'll Do (and Learn):

• Assist with precision measurement and calibration
• Operate CNC machines and 3D printers
• Create CAD drawings and product visuals
• Assemble prototypes and short-run products
• Work alongside engineers and production specialists

With engineering, CNC machining, and assembly all under one roof, you'll play an integral role as products move from concept to completion.

Unlike many entry-level roles, you won't be limited to one repetitive task. You Might Be a Fit If You:

• Like building, fixing, or figuring out how things work
• Learn new skills quickly
• Care about doing things right (not just fast)
• Communicate well and work well with others

Helpful, But Not Required:

• Hands-on shop or manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with mechanical parts (motors, pumps, valves)
• Exposure to CAD or CNC tools

Employment Details

This position is full-time and in-person. Compensation is based on skills and experience. TAC Rockford offers an excellent 401k plan with an industry-leading company match, paid vacation and holidays (including your birthday and a "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"), a Rockford MakerSpace membership (RockfordMakerSpace.org), and more.
