Sr. Clinical Account Executive - Oncology - Houston, TX

AbbVie seeks a Senior Clinical Account Executive to launch and promote a new ultra-rare blood cancer therapy in the South region. The role focuses on building relationships with healthcare professionals, driving therapy adoption, and managing key accounts within assigned oncology territories.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
• Monitor territory-level sales data and provide feedback to marketing on selling materials effectiveness
• Conduct key account management engaging entire care teams and cross-functional support
• Educate healthcare teams on product preparation, administration, adverse event management, and patient protocols
• Attend and actively participate in local oncology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, and advocacy events

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent business acumen
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and influencing matrix partners
• History of leading key account management for complex customers such as IDNs and hospitals
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and safe driving requirements
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience (preferred)
