Associate Director, Portfolio Manager

We are currently seeking an Associate Director to serve as a Portfolio Manager for the Advanced Land Warfare portfolio. This role is onsite, and located in Tucson, Arizona.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the Capture Managers and Technical Directors to develop compelling proposals and white papers
• Execute complex technical efforts to meet customer expectations and win programs that will transition to other product lines for production
• Support Program Managers as they execute demonstration efforts as well as science and technology development programs
• Display strong communication and presentation skills with both leadership and external customers
• Responsible for management of a variety of contract and associated IRAD projects
• Travel up to 20% for customer engagements

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
• Experience writing and leading responses to solicitations (RFIs, RFPs, etc.), including white papers and/or proposals
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing/Operations
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and program access after start

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
