Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

This position requires a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, working 36 hours weekly. The contract duration is 13 weeks.

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to patients in the emergency department.
Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a safe and sterile environment in accordance with protocols.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

A minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Active RN license in the state of practice.

Holiday Expectations:

Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
