The ideal candidate should have excellent instructional delivery skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders. Responsibilities Work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport that you express an interest. Assist the Head Coach in game techniques and strategies to prepare the team for competition, and determine the need for individual or team improvement. Accept directions from the Head Coach at all times. Assist with maintaining inventory of athletic equipment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid techniques. Maintain locker room and playing facilities. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred. Certifications, Licenses, Permits Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required. Valid certificate in first aid required.
