Senior Accountant

Hybrid, 3 days/week in the office (after trial period) Job Summary Senior Accountant to join our multinational finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services to multiple client entities across different jurisdictions. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to operate effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end accounting processes for multiple client entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Oversee closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met across multiple entities. Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high‑quality service delivery. Understand client‑specific requirements and provide tailored accounting solutions. Support audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with external auditors. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal control policies across multiple jurisdictions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and strengthen internal controls. Stay up to date with evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes. Drive efficiencies through automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in the implementation and optimization of ERP and financial systems. Standardize accounting processes across client entities where possible. Work closely with a diverse, international team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Mentor junior accountants and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous development. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Accounting. Minimum 2‑3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a multinational or shared services environment. Strong knowledge of IFRS. Experience managing multiple entities or clients simultaneously. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Client‑oriented mindset with a focus on service excellence. Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment.
