Job Title: Vice President, Operations – Food Manufacturing

Location: Sterling, VA or Alexandria, VA

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead plant operations for an established food manufacturing company specializing in innovative sous vide food solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee production, plant operations, maintenance, quality, inventory, and distribution.
• Improve productivity, efficiency, product quality, and operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and production targets.
• Lead and develop plant management teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• 5+ years of direct plant operations or production management.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, GMPs, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems and operational performance improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
