Behavior Specialist in School Setting | Cambridge, Massachusetts An opportunity is available for a skilled Behavior Specialist to support K-12 students within a dynamic school setting in Cambridge, MA. This contract position offers the chance to apply expertise in behavioral interventions and strategies to foster positive student outcomes throughout the school year. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure consistent behavior supports Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary Provide training and guidance to school personnel on behavior management techniques Promote positive behavior supports that enhance the learning environment Desired Qualifications Experience working as a Behavior Specialist in K-12 school settings Proficiency in designing and executing behavior intervention plans Strong understanding of behavioral assessment tools and methodologies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for diverse learners Relevant credentials and certifications in behavior analysis or special education Location Cambridge, MA Contract Details School Year (CSY) contract Compensation Compensation ranges from $22.41 to $42.41 per hour.
