Applications Manager

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Applications Manager to support and modernize legacy systems while driving improvements across DevOps and business operations. This role will focus on optimizing existing processes, managing application workflows, and helping evaluate a potential transition from Visual Basic-based systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Required Skills & Experience
• Analyze and modernize legacy applications, primarily built in Visual Basic
• Unpack and review existing code to identify optimization opportunities
• Develop repeatable frameworks for application and process workflows
• Support DevOps initiatives, including process automation and system improvements
• Assist in evaluating and planning migration from on-prem/legacy systems to GCP
• 7+ years of experience in application management, DevOps, or related role Strong experience working with legacy systems (Visual Basic / VB.NET)
• Proven ability to analyze, refactor, and optimize existing codebases
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation and database querying (SQL, Excel, etc.)


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with healthcare systems or regulated environments
Knowledge of modernization strategies for legacy applications
