Senior Cloud Engineer

Essential Job FunctionsMonitor, support, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure by reviewing system metrics and logs, responding to alerts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring overall platform stability and performance.Design, develop, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and modular cloud-based solutions that align with business and technical requirements.Administer cloud infrastructure resources, including compute, storage, networking, and security components, while ensuring adherence to operational best practices.Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues, participating in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and maintain service availability.Develop, implement, and maintain cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and DevOps best practices, leveraging tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, and YAML.Build, manage, and enhance automation processes, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines, to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.Collaborate with cloud engineers, software developers, and cross-functional teams to support production deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.Create and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline cloud and on-premises operational processes.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including infrastructure designs, operational procedures, runbooks, standards, and support documentation.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.THIS IS ONSITE IN JACKSONVILLE,FL CAN NOT SUPPORT CORP TO CORP AT THIS TIMEW2 CONTRACT Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
