Industrial Maintenance Technician (Multiple Shifts Available)

About the Role

Pro Services is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for openings across our manufacturing and processing partners, including a growing polymer recycling operation. Whether you're early in your maintenance career or you've got years of hands-on experience, we have a role for you. You'll keep sorting, grinding, washing, and baling equipment running safely and efficiently — troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as part of a team that takes pride in keeping operations up and running.

Schedule

• Both day shift and night shift openings available
• 2-2-3 rotation schedules
• Overtime available as business needs require
• Some roles may require flexibility for off-hours support during emergency downtime situations

What You'll Do

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems — including motors, pumps, conveyors, screens, balers, and grinders
• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment, working independently as your experience allows
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints; PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley) a plus
• Complete work orders, field service reports, and daily logs
• Assist with or lead new equipment installs and coordinate maintenance schedules with vendors
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to established schedules
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and operators, and share what you learn to help prevent repeat issues
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar hands-on trade (5+ years preferred for senior-level openings)
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and conveyors
• Electrical knowledge sufficient to work safely around industrial systems; ability to read electrical schematics is a plus
• A self-starter mindset — someone who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told twice
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
• A team player who's motivated to keep learning and building new skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or mechanical/electrical certificate a plus
• Preferred for some roles: welding experience, PLC troubleshooting, valid driver's license, background in recycling centers or polymer processing

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding; working in tight spaces
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Wearing required PPE
