Laminator OperatorShift: Night Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 2/2/3 rotating schedule Pay Rate: $20.00 Shift Premium: $1.00Position Overview The Laminator Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laminating equipment to bond multiple layers of materials together according to precise specifications and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in the manufacturing production line, ensuring products meet dimensional, aesthetic, and functional requirements while maintaining safety protocols and production efficiency.Reasonable Accommodations Statement Operate industrial laminating machinery to combine materials such as plastics, films, paper, foil, or composite materials into finished or semi-finished products. The operator monitors machine performance, conducts quality inspections, and makes necessary adjustments to maintain consistent output that meets customer specifications and company quality standards.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesFollow all Sealed Air rules and regulations while working safely and utilizing PPE protocol.Work with float to ensure jobs are being cut to meet customer demandOperate machine safely to obtain a quality productTroubleshoot machine issues and involve Plant Maintenance when neededAssist float or complete setups as neededEnsure the oncoming shift has clear direction as to how to proceed at turnoverComplete and record all quality checksMake sure equipment is properly staffed throughout shiftSend required information to pack outFollow all special job instructions (SPI's) on paperworkLet Core Cutter know if special needs arisePrint pallet labels, fill out documentation, and perform SAP entry (float may assist if available)Perform second party QC checks for other Operators as neededFile job packets and deliver customer sample packets to PC group as neededWork with Production Control in sharing ways to minimize machine downtime.Attend departmental and safety meetings when scheduled.Other additional tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust have good communication skills both personal and via EmailMultiple slitter experience preferredMust be able to troubleshoot and problem solveTolerate standing, pushing, pulling during 12 hours on a concrete floorMust have good interpersonal skillsMust have good judgment with decision-making regarding Quality and Fitness-for-use of materialsAbility to complete production-related documentation on both computer and paper formsExcellent organizational skills, planning ability, and attention to detailMust have the ability to work within a teamAbility to take direction from several individualsWillingness to work overtime if neededSelf-motivatedAbility to multitaskBenefits and Perks401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountsFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid elder carePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurance
