About the Role:
SENOJ INC is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team in Long Island City, NY! This is an exciting opportunity to bring your craft and passion for sewing to a dynamic work environment where quality and creativity are valued. Responsibilities:
- Sew, alter, and construct garments and textile products with precision and care
- Perform fittings and make necessary alterations to ensure proper fit and finish
- Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality control and adherence to specifications
- Follow patterns, sketches, and technical instructions to complete garment construction
- Maintain and organize sewing tools, materials, and workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or garment construction professional
- Proficiency with sewing machines, sergers, and hand-stitching techniques
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, sketches, and sewing instructions
- Keen eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong team-oriented attitude
