School Based Behavioral Technician

School Based Behavioral TechnicianChild and Family Focus has partnered with DCIU to provide intensive behavioral and mental health supports to students placed in DCIU Aston Education Center, and The County Alternative High School (TCA). The position of the School Based Behavioral Technician will work with CFF team as well as DCIU teachers and staff in the classrooms to facilitate behavioral management and modification techniques. This position will work along with the students identified behavioral plans in an effort to decrease identified challenging behaviors. This is a 10-month position. The school day work hours are 7:30am-3pm M-F. Please note that this position is for the 2026–2027 school year, with the opportunity to continue employment for the following school years.QualificationsIndividuals who provide Individual Services through Intensive Behavioral Health Counseling services shall meet one of the following:Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, sociology, education, criminal justice, or other related human services fieldOR a Licensed Registered Nurse a. PLUS one (1) year verified full-time paid experience working in direct care with children/adolescentsOR a Bachelor's degree in another field a. PLUS one (1) year verified full-time paid experience working in direct care with children/adolescentsOR an Associate's degree or sixty (60) credits toward a bachelor's degree a.
