Project Manager (Delta)

Company Overview We are supporting our client in the hiring of a Project Manager to join their well-established engineering firm based in Delta, BC. The company delivers technical solutions across complex infrastructure and industrial projects, working closely with long-term clients to provide end-to-end project execution and ongoing support. The role will operate out of the Delta office with a versatile hybrid work schedule while being actively involved in project delivery across multiple sites and stakeholder groups. Role Details The Project Manager is fully accountable for the successful delivery of technically complex projects from initial planning through commissioning and closeout. You will own scope, schedule, budget, and overall project outcomes while leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, field operations, procurement, and external stakeholders. You will serve as the primary point of coordination and decision‑making for assigned projects. You will ensure alignment between technical execution and business objectives while maintaining visibility into project performance at every phase. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through the full lifecycle from design through production, commissioning, and delivery. Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and key milestones. Lead cross‑functional teams to execute project objectives. Assign responsibilities, set priorities, and ensure teams have the tools and direction required to succeed. Foster accountability and collaboration. Manage project resources, monitor budgets, track change orders, and ensure contract compliance. Maintain financial oversight and alignment with approved project scope. Act as the main point of contact for project updates, risks, and milestones. Maintain consistent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ensure project deliverables meet technical specifications and contractual requirements. Apply project management best practices to maintain consistency and quality. Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies before issues impact cost or timelines. Monitor project progress daily and take corrective action when required to keep deliverables aligned with approved plans. Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline). An active PMP certification is highly preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering full lifecycle projects. Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and technically complex projects. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
