Interim CFO

Job Title: Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Business Services Duration: Approximately 3 Months Location: Primarily Remote with occasional travel to Charlotte, NC Schedule: Flexible; approximately 3–4 days per week (potential for full-time) Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide leadership during a transition as the current CFO exits the organization. This short-term engagement requires a seasoned finance executive with strong experience in the business services industry who can quickly step in and provide strategic financial oversight. Key Responsibilities Provide executive-level financial leadership during the CFO transition Oversee and improve cash management and cash conversion cycle Lead accounts receivable strategy and performance to optimize cash flow Identify and implement cost control initiatives Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Partner with leadership to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency Qualifications Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience Business services industry experience is required Deep understanding of cash flow management, cash conversion cycles, and A/R operations Experience driving cost management and budgeting processes Ability to quickly assess financial operations and implement improvements in a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance executive who can provide immediate strategic and operational financial leadership during a key transition period.
