Mechanical Maintenance Manager

job summary:
Well known and industry leading manufacturing company located in Cleveland, Ohio is looking for a M-F day shift Mechanical Maintenance Manager.

This role comes with a very good salary (up to $120k) plus an annual bonus that can range from 15%-30%. Relocation assistance is available.

The ideal candidate will possess mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment along with maintenance planning, reliability and project management ($10k to $1M) and supervisory experience.

responsibilities:
-Manage the maintenance of mechanical equipment and provide the day to day supervision of the maintenance technician mechanics

-Develop into a maintenance expert for the maintenance systems within assigned area

-Act as a coach to employees and ensure that they have the tools and knowledge required to safely perform the job

-Manage spending budget using project management skills and a thorough understanding of the processes needed to properly maintain the equipment

-Interact with purchasing, operations, op tech/continuous improvement, accounting, engineering, vendors and suppliers

-Develop maintenance stragtegy that would ensure a high level of equipment reliability

Minimum Qualification:

-HS diploma or GED

-2 yrs of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

-Applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

-3 years of mechanical maintenance engineering experience

-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/industrial operation or military

-Experience working with a computer based PM and/or equipment reliability program
