Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

Duties

Assist radiologists in performing specialized and invasive procedures.

Ensure optimal radiographs are presented to the radiologist for interpretation.

Perform difficult procedures such as bone densitometry, multiaxial tomography/computed tomography procedures, cardiovascular

Prepare film processing chemicals, loads and unloads cassettes, operates film processor, develops film, and makes copies of radiographic film.

Perform front desk duties to include receiving patients, scheduling, and explaining methods of examination in person and over the telephone.
