Inpatient Wound Ostomy Nurse

Seeking Inpatient Wound Care Center RN! Full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, no weekends, holidays or on-call Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area Baptist Health Floyd Responsible for a variety of functions related to the specialty preparation in stoma care and education, skin care, and incontinence management. The nurse will serve as a consultant with physicians, nursing, hospital, and home care staff. Assesses patients, recommends treatment of wounds, skin care management, and pre- and post-operatively, for stomas and is the primary educator. Plans nursing care to provide continuity of care from hospital to home environment (for ostomy, wounds, and continence patients), implements and evaluates treatments.
