Registered Nurse (RN) – Part-Time Join our exceptional team at Grandview Terrace in Sun City West, AZ as a Part-Time Registered Nurse! Key Responsibilities Assigns and directs the work of Certified Nursing Assistants on their respective shifts and assists with the annual performance evaluation of nursing personnel. Has the responsibility and authority to discipline Certified Nursing Assistants. May suspend or send home an employee in cases of severe disciplinary problems; records and executes physicians’ orders in a timely manner. Responsible for organizing evaluation of resident condition and notifies physicians, Director of Nursing Services, and family members of any changes in condition. Coordinates residents’ care with Dietary and/or diagnostic or therapeutic services. Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician; evaluates effectiveness, monitors for adverse reactions, and provides appropriate follow‑up. Maintains unit records in accordance with facility policy, including documentation in charts and management of drugs (controlled and uncontrolled). Assists in orientation of new employees and provides input in the evaluation of new employees. When residents are discharged or transferred, makes necessary arrangements and ensures appropriate paperwork is completed. Charge Nurse acts as Administrator in the absence of the Administrator and the Director of Nursing Services. Updates and participates in Resident Care Plans. Demonstrates the Sun Health Mission and Values. Your Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing. (required) Currently licensed in the State of Arizona. Shift Differential of $2.25 increase in hourly wage for shifts from M‑F 6pm to 6am and Friday 6pm to Monday 6am.
