Job Description

As a Security Officer for a Refinery in Artesia NM you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees contractors and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify credentials manage visitor and contractor entry maintain access-control logs and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points alarms and communications equipment; report unauthorized entry attempts suspicious activity and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents access-control issues and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points buildings and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
