What You'll Do

• Perform specialized CT procedures, including setting up and operating CT scanner, and post-processing images
• Position patients appropriately to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Adjust protocols to meet patient-specific needs and critique completed procedures for diagnostic quality
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper use of power injectors and post-processing tools
• Assist radiologists during invasive procedures such as biopsies and drainages
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing explanation and reassurance
• Ensure patient safety and positive identification practices are followed
• Document and archive images according to standard procedures
• Perform general radiography exams as needed to support diagnostic services
• Stay current with new procedures and imaging techniques in diagnostic radiology

What You Need

• Valid radiologic technologist license in Michigan
• ARRT credential preferred
• Experience in CT imaging and general radiography
• Knowledge of imaging protocols and equipment operation
• Strong patient care and communication skills

• Certification or experience with invasive procedures support
• Familiarity with hospital EMR systems
