We are looking for an experienced corporate tax specialist to join our team in Marion, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in business and individual tax preparation who can manage compliance work accurately and efficiently. The position offers the opportunity to contribute across multiple tax filings while supporting high-quality reporting and deadline-driven deliverables.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review a range of tax filings, including corporate, partnership, exempt organization, and individual returns, with close attention to accuracy and completeness.
• Support corporate tax compliance activities by organizing financial data, applying current tax rules, and helping ensure timely submissions.
• Contribute to annual income tax provision work by assisting with calculations, documentation, and reconciliation of supporting schedules.
• Manage sales and use tax-related tasks as needed, including gathering information, validating records, and helping maintain compliance obligations.
• Use Lacerte Tax Software to complete return preparation, maintain workpapers, and streamline the tax reporting process.
• Analyze tax documents and general ledger information to identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and support accurate filings.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect required data, clarify tax positions, and keep projects moving according to deadlines.• 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong focus on corporate tax matters.
• Hands-on experience preparing or supporting Form 1120, Form 1065, Form 990, and individual Form 1040 filings.
• Working knowledge of corporate income tax compliance and annual income tax provision processes.
• Familiarity with sales and use tax requirements and related compliance activities.
• Proficiency with Lacerte Tax Software in a tax environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is preferred.
