Casual Radiology Tech Opportunity

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Casual Radiology Tech. Under the direct supervision of the Department Leader or designee, assists in fulfilling clerical duties such as greeting patients, physicians, visitors and hospital personnel that come to the Radiology Service. Answer phones and direct questions to the proper personnel. Preparing material for the efficient patient flow in the department.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging strongly preferred. Graduate of an accredited AMA program for Radiologic Technology.

Holder of a valid and current:

• Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or be registry eligible, and;
• Licensed as required by the West Virginia State "Board" of Radiology

Experience

Previous work experience as Staff Radiologic Technologist desired but not essential.

Skills

Uses a variety of stationery and mobile radiation producing diagnostic equipment and mechanical accessories. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials and devices. BLS required.
