Retail Sales Lead Generator

Overview Required for this position: Work in the partner location Home Depot located at 230 Durbin Pavilion Drive, St. Johns, FL 32259 Donovan Air, Electric, and Plumbing is currently seeking Face-to-Face Retail Sales Lead Generators to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Appointment Generators act as Brand Ambassadors at our partner business location Home Depot by answering customer questions about our products and services and then encouraging them to schedule appointments for estimates of these services. This position will require an emphasis on multitasking, working in a high‑volume environment and self‑motivation. The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy engaging people in conversation (face to face) and be driven by commission and incentives. Benefits $17/hr plus commissions (NO LIMIT!) Greet customers approaching the company display to encourage them to stop and learn about the company’s products and services. Walk throughout the stores, engaging customers in conversations about their home service needs. Explain features and benefits of the various products and services while soliciting information from the customers on their individual needs. Schedule an appointment for one of our Comfort Advisers to visit the customers home to provide an estimate for product and services. Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers. Build rapport and relationships with the store's leadership team. Attend required meetings and trainings. Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically. Qualifications Do I have What it Takes? Preferred: Prior experience working in retail is highly desired but not required. Prior sales experience a plus but not required. HVAC experience a plus but not required. Required: Ability to stand/walk for 4-8 hours at a time. Availability to work weekends. Availability to work retail hours, as needed. Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications, email, and text. Ability to learn and be proficient with our business software systems. Ability to use a smart phone utilizing email and text. Must be outgoing, energetic, and self‑motivated. Results driven in a high‑energy environment. Detail oriented with good time management skills. A+ communication and customer service skills. Maintain well‑groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.
