Physician - Section Head of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

About the Role Join the pediatric hematology/oncology program at Ochsner Children’s Hospital as Section Head, leading and expanding our services to increase care for children. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow the pediatric hematology/oncology program, increasing patient volume. Recruit, develop, and manage physician staff and support personnel. Achieve quality of care, financial performance, and patient experience goals. Oversee medical staff management and operational excellence. Drive program growth and develop clinical services, including potential bone marrow / stem cell transplant. Qualifications Board‑certified physician with experience in pediatric hematology/oncology. Strong leadership, team‑building, and managerial experience. Track record of program growth and successful clinical outcomes. Experience or training in bone marrow transplant and/or stem cell transplant desirable. Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.
