Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Mount Vernon, IN area, is seeking production operators to join their team!
Production Operator Job Summary:
- Pay: $20 an hour
- Shifts Available: Candidates must be open and flexible for all shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate equipment efficiently, including setup, changeovers, cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and supporting preventative maintenance.
Ensure all work meets Mt. Vernon Site standards, SOPs, GMP requirements, and Safety, Health & Environment expectations.
Collaborate with Process Facilitators and cross?functional teams to support continuous improvement, equipment efficiency, new equipment start?ups, and new product/procedure development.
Adapt to changing production and equipment assignments; interpret and advise on production schedules.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and contribute to a high?performance team environment.
Work alternative shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules as required, with the expectation of transitioning to a standard shift.
Qualifications:
Strong problem?solving and troubleshooting abilities
Basic mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred
Effective interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently
High School Diploma required
1 year of operator experience in a production environment (pharmaceutical experience a plus)
Knowledge of cGMPs
