Laboratory Technician

AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Basic knowledge of laboratory practices or willingness to be trained. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, excellent work ethic, self sufficient mindset. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks during shifts. Able to work in a team, dynamic, and fast paced environment. Plusses: Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation. Pipe Petting Experience. Day-to-Day: Insight Global is looking to hire a part time laboratory technician for a client of ours in the Idaho Falls, ID area. Below are general responsibilities. Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded. Verify results and submit results to the appropriate personnel for transmission, in a timely manner. Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications. Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Hourly rate for this position ranges between $16.00-$25.00 and is dependent on experience and education level. #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
