Mixed Pet Veterinary Hospital - Part Time Veterinarian

The primary purpose and function of the Associate Veterinarian is to provide the highest quality of veterinary care and exceptional client service. The Associate Veterinarian advocates for pets and their quality of life; builds a long term bonding relationship with clients; contributes to the development and maintenance of the human-pet bond; and educates clients on all aspects of pet health. This role partners with the Practice Manager as a driving force in support of a positive, high-performing culture that aligns with VetEvolve's guiding principles of Care First, Better Together, Grow Forward, and Own It.

What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, including wellness, preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment.
• Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry (or receive mentorship if desired).
• Collaborate with an experienced and supportive veterinary team.
• Build long-term relationships with clients through education and compassionate communication.
• Help create an exceptional experience for both pets and their families.

What We're Looking For:

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active (or eligible) North Carolina veterinary license.
• Strong interest in and commitment to small animal medicine is required
• Interest or experience in exotic medicine is a plus! We would love to support a veterinarian who is passionate about exotics and interested in helping us grow this area of the practice and build an exotic caseload.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

• Weekdays (2 days, likely Tuesday & Thursday): 126:00 p.m. (negotiable)
• Friday: 8:004:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00-2:00 p.m.
• No on-call responsibilities.
