Welder- 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities

Follow all company safety rules and ensure a safe work environment

Communicate professionally and effectively to peers, line leaders, supervisory staff, QC and management

Responsible to ensure quality of all welded parts and processes

Must have the ability to wire weld.035 &.045 wire

Able to read various measuring devices

Able to read and understand blue prints and diagrams

Must be able to use various hand tools

Must be able to remember and follow simple procedures such as scrap tickets, reject tags and MI change

Physical Requirements

Standing is a continuous daily job requirement; 10+ hours a day

Lifting 20-50 lbs. is continuous

Lifting over 50 lbs. is occasional and requires the use of a hoist

Pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting and stooping is a continuous daily requirement

Reaching, grasping and repetitive movement is a continuous daily requirement

Required to wear weld helmet, safety glasses, ear plugs, weld jacket, sleeves, gloves, steel toe shoes

Repetitively work overhead using a heavy weld whip
