POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT Job Title: Elementary Teacher(s) - Anticipated Opening Date: July 16, 2026 Closing Date: Until filled FLSA Status: Exempt Salary: Based on BCSS Salary Schedule Expected Workday: As defined by the Principal Terms of Employment: 9-Month Contract Reports To: Principal Job Goals: * Provide each student with optimum opportunities to learn, achieve, grow, and succeed to his/her fullest potential through high academic standards in a safe and controlled environment. Qualifications: * Minimum of bachelor's degree * Certification in the appropriate teaching areas * Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Performance Responsibilities: * Must deliver the required curriculum in accordance with the standards expected of the Alabama Department of Education * Other duties as may be assigned by the Principal Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boaz City Board of Education.
