Counter Sales Associate II with Forklift Experience

Join a leading HVAC manufacturing organization as a Counter Sales Associate II where your forklift skills and customer service expertise will be valued.
This role supports a global leader in climate control products by assisting customers in-store and over the phone, managing parts lookup, and performing shipping and receiving duties. Forklift operation is required a few times per week to handle product deliveries safely and efficiently.

- LOCATION: Bedford Park, IL 60638
- POSITION: Seasonal with Right to Hire
- PAY RATE: 20.00hr
- HOURS: 6:00am to 3:00pm
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with parts lookup and orders.
- Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services under direct supervision.
- Ensure proper stocking of Lennox-branded and other HVAC-related products and supplies.
- Assist in unloading products and deliveries using forklift as needed.
- Communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information effectively to customers.
- Follow all safety, health, security, and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Counter sales experience.
- Computer skills to look up parts and process customer orders.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Forklift skills preferred (used 2 to 3 times per week).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- General HVAC knowledge.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
