Technical Lead / Solutions Architect Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid 2 to 4 Days Onsite) Duration: 12-Month Contract (06/19/2026 06/19/2027) Interview: Video Interview Client Note: Local only with LinkedIn (proper location not the United States) Looking for a highly technical, execution-focused leader Strong Python background required Must be capable of coordinating across multiple Agile pods and delivery teams Experience leading complex enterprise application modernization initiatives preferred Hands-on technical leadership is critical; this is not a pure architecture governance role About the Role: Client is launching STEP 2.0 , an AI-native application designed to replace the existing STEP (Systematic Tracking of Exchanges in Procurement) platform. This PMO-led initiative operates across multiple Agile pods and requires a highly skilled Technical Lead / Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership, integration oversight, release readiness support, and end-to-end solution alignment. The ideal candidate will come from a strong software engineering or technical leadership background and possess the ability to connect business objectives, architecture decisions, integrations, data flows, and delivery execution across multiple teams. This individual will serve as the technical glue that ensures all moving parts work together cohesively. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical lead across multiple Agile pods and delivery teams Ensure end-to-end solution alignment across applications, integrations, data flows, and dependencies Drive release readiness activities and support successful program execution Review and validate technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches Assess integration points, downstream impacts, and cross-platform dependencies Collaborate with PMO leadership, product teams, architects, developers, and business stakeholders Guide teams on architecture, data readiness, integration strategy, and delivery sequencing Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies across workstreams Evaluate solution scalability, maintainability, and operational readiness Participate in architecture reviews and challenge assumptions to improve solution quality Provide hands‑on support when required, including reviewing integrations, data flows, and technical implementations Coordinate technical planning across multiple teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes Support modernization efforts and AI‑native platform transformation initiatives Required Skills: Strong Technical Lead or Solutions Architect experience Software Development background with hands‑on technical expertise Python development experience (Strongly Preferred) Enterprise Application Architecture experience Integration Architecture and System Design Data Flow Analysis and Data Readiness Planning Release Management and Delivery Execution Agile and Multi‑Pod Delivery Environment experienceCross‑Functional Technical Leadership Architecture Review and Solution Validation Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership abilities Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and workstreams Nice to Have: AI‑native or AI‑enabled application experience Enterprise Platform Modernization initiatives Procurement platform experience PMO‑led transformation program experience Cloud‑native application architecture Experience supporting large‑scale global delivery programs World Bank or International Development organization experience Key Technologies: Python Application Integrations Data Flows & Data Architecture Enterprise Solution Architecture Modern Application Platforms Agile Delivery Frameworks #J-18808-Ljbffr Akaasa Technologies
