Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 8:30 AM Friday through Sunday
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, ACLS preferred
• Maryland license required (preferably in hand at submittal)
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• No call or float requirements
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform various CT procedures including 3D rendering, brain perfusion, contrast studies, emergency department scans, and vascular imaging
• Handle approximately 45 visits per day in a 3-room department
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
• Skills include preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, and radiation safety
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Community hospital experience preferred

This healthcare facility operates a busy imaging department with a daily census of 100 patients and modern CT technology. The facility provides comprehensive medical services and maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups. The imaging department features 3 CT rooms and handles a variety of procedures from routine scans to emergency cases, with strong interdisciplinary support services available to ensure quality patient outcomes.
