Customer Account Specialist

Job Purpose

The Customer Account Specialist supports Honda Aircraft Company’s commercial sales and delivery operations by coordinating customer account setup, contract administration, aircraft order activity, delivery preparation, customer communication and closing support. This role serves as a central coordination point across Sales, Finance, Legal, Flight Operations, Customer Service, Production, dealers, escrow partners and customers to help ensure accurate documentation, timely execution and a professional customer delivery experience.

• Post Delivery Support, Records and Process Compliance

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, aviation management
• Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in sales operations, contract administration, customer coordination, aviation operations, delivery coordination or a related business support role
• Other Job-Specific Skills: Microsoft office Suite, Salesforce, HOTdocs, SAP

Key Performance Indicators

• Contracts, amendments, notices and closing documents are prepared accurately and routed on time 
• SAP, Salesforce and contract tracking records remain current and aligned with approved transaction documents.
• Customer delivery preparation milestones are completed on schedule with limited escalation.

Decisions Expected

• Prioritize customer account, contract and delivery tasks based on transaction timing, customer commitments and delivery readiness.
• Identify when document, payment, registration or customer information issues require escalation to Sales, Finance, Legal or leadership.
• Recommend process improvements to improve transaction accuracy, delivery coordination and customer experience.

Working Conditions

This position is based in a professional office setting and requires regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Work is typically performed in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal exposure to physical risks. The role may involve periods of sitting, attend meetings, and working at a computer for extended durations.

Occasional in‑person collaboration, light standing or walking within the facility, and limited travel for business needs may be required depending on project activities and departmental priorities.
