Dental Care of Wendell Falls Wendell, NC Open to New Graduates!

Join a growing, hardworking, and motivating dental team at Dental Care of Wendell Falls! We're looking for a full?time Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient care, enjoys collaboration, and is excited to grow with our practice.

Schedule

• Tuesday: 6:30 AM 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 6:30 AM 4:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education.
• Perform thorough assessments including medical history review, periodontal charting, and radiographs.
• Build trusting relationships by helping patients understand the "why" behind their treatment needs.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in patient charts.
• Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive experience.
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection?control protocols.
• Utilize practice technology such as iTero scanners and Dentrix, if experienced (not requiredwilling to train!).

Qualifications

• Active (or soon?to?be active) North Carolina Dental Hygienist License.
• New graduates encouraged to apply!
• Experience with iTero and/or Dentrix is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• A team?first mindsetsomeone who is dependable, supportive, and ready to contribute to a positive culture.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
