Registered Nurse (RN- ER) San Antonio, TX | Methodist Hospital Job Responsibilities Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs Carry out physician orders and administer prescribed medications Change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems Instruct and educate patients and families Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with the healthcare team Qualifications Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate’s, or baccalaureate nursing program Current RN License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire) Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Recent ER experience in an acute care setting Additional Information Standard ER nurse‑to‑patient ratio Sign‑on bonus up to $15,000 (based on minimum 2 years of experience) Relocation assistance up to $5,000 offered for qualifying candidates #J-18808-Ljbffr Rapinno Tech
