Cloud Cyber Ops Engineer

CirrusLabs is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Cyber Ops Engineer to support cloud modernization and security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud security, monitoring, and incident response within enterprise environments. The role requires expertise in cloud-native security tools and automation to enhance cloud security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud security operations and incident response solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence tools to detect and respond to security threats.
• Automate security controls and improve incident response processes using Python, Terraform, and cloud-native security tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security risk analysis for cloud workloads.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and DevSecOps teams to implement security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Create security monitoring dashboards and alerts using Splunk, Dynatrace, or other observability platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security Operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Security Hub, GCP Security Command Center, or Azure Defender.
• Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, Elastic Security, QRadar, etc.).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and Identity Access Management (IAM).
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS/GCP/Azure Security Specialty) preferred.
